IT techies carrying black Lenovo monsters is a common sight in bangalore. Lenovo is well known making for professional laptops and renowned for its performance. I have rearly seen any professional laptops that are aesthatic. The lenovo new T61 is one such new offering from Lenovo with huge performance, ok looks and very bad design. I am very much happy with the performance of the notebook, becuase it gives me more than 3 hours of battery life, not so bulky and all other features which you look for a good laptop. But these are some of the basic flaws which i observed in the organization of different slots in T61.
1. USB slot - the USB slot is given on left side and is placed vertically. Because of this vertical placement, my usb drives, card readers can not be kept in the slot when i keep laptop on a table, because there is no space between
